Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Now Available

Activision has launched their latest Spider-Man game, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. Developed by Beenox, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions gives players the opportunity to play as the web-slinger as four distinct versions of the character in four different worlds (Amazing, Noir, 2099, and Ultimate), as he battles against well-known villains from the comics, like Mysterio, Carnage, Vulture, Deadpool, and others.

“The team at Beenox is giving fans an incredibly diverse Spider-Man video game experience,” said David Pokress, Head of Marketing for Licensed Properties, Activision Publishing, Inc. “Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions casts players in an epic action adventure where they battle in four different worlds, rife with classic villains re-interpreted within each world, offering a rich variety of gameplay and striking art styles in one unique storyline.”

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions was written by Dan Slott, acclaimed Marvel writer, and features the voices of four different actors in the role of Spider-Man, each of whom voiced the character in a different animated television series: Neil Patrick Harris (Amazing Spider-Man) who voiced the character in “Spider-Man: The Animated Series” in 2003, Josh Keaton (Ultimate Spider-Man) who voiced the character in “The Spectacular Spider-Man” from 2008-2009, Dan Gilvezan (Spider-Man 2099) who provided the voice in “Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends” from 1981-1983, and Christopher Daniel Barnes (Spider-Man Noir) who voiced the character in “Spider-Man” in 1994.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is rated T for Teen and is now available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, and Nintendo DS. A PC version is on the way.
