We are just a little over a month away from the release of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The highly-anticipated spin-off will bridge the gap between the first Spider-Man game and the inevitable sequel as well as showcase the power of the PS5.
Obviously, we got to see a bit of Miles Morales trying to understand his powers in the first game but this spin-off aims to put the spotlight on him. When we find him, Miles already has his suit and is relatively familiar with his powers. To understand what has happened since the first game, Marvel is releasing a book that serves as a prequel to Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
The book, titled Spider-Miles: Morales – Wings of Fury by Brittney Morris, will release on November 10th, two days before the game. It’ll see Miles go toe to toe with Vulture and his granddaughter, Starling.
“With an exclusive adventure leading directly into the game itself, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales – Wings of Fury features Miles Morales coming to terms with what it means to be Spider-Man. A mix-up with the law leaves Miles questioning everything and when Vulture and his accomplice Starling unleash experimental tech on Marvel’s New York, Miles must decide what kind of hero he wants to be,” reads the official description from IGN.
The book is 288 pages long and will cost $16. A 192-page artbook for the game is also set to release in February 2021. It’ll cost about $40.
