A couple of weeks ago, Sniper Elite 4 was leaked by a digital arts employee updating their LinkedIn account, but up until now we have had no official announcement.
In a recent post to the PlayStation Blog, series developer Rebellion announced that Sniper Elite 4 is official and coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year. The latest installment in the series continues the story of fan favorite-marksman Karl Fairburne.
Sniper Elite 4 is set in Italy in the direct aftermath of the North African conflict seen in Sniper Elite 3, where fascism’s grip on the Mediterranean is slipping. The game is said to feature the largest sniper sandbox yet, new multiplayer modes and a co-op campaign mode for you and your friends.
Sniper Elite 4's release date has not yet been announced.
