developed
by Chicago-based High Voltage Software, in conjunction with
Swedish-based
Massive Entertainment. Scheduled for release November 2000,

High Voltage will be able to creatively expand and
build upon
Ground Control, while also
offering gamers something new."

Ground
Control: Dark Conspiracy continues the Ground Control saga, following
the
story of Sarah Parker as she battles against the Order of the New Dawn.

Dark Conspiracy will feature 15 totally new single
player missions,
never-before-seen
environments and terrains, a third faction with new
playable
units, and additional Crayven and Order of the New Dawn units and
special
weapons. It will also offer new multiplayer maps and modes via
Sierra.com(tm),
powered by Flipside(tm).

Ground
Control combines classic strategy elements with incredible 3-D
technology
previously seen only in action games. It focuses its gameplay on
tactics,
strategy, and the art of battle. The end result is greater realism,
faster-paced
action, and an unparalleled player experience. Played out
through
a variety of missions, players must take control of their
customizable
squads of soldiers, tanks, hovercraft, aircraft, and other
