Sierra’s resurrection also brings a new King’s Quest and Geometry Wars 3

The Xbox 360 effectively introduced me to a world of downloadable titles, and the key game responsible for this was Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved. Not only was I mesmerized by the bright colors that exploded on my screen every few seconds, the game was addicting as hell! Its sequel was just as good, if not better than its predecessor. However, then Bizzare Creations shut its doors and my hopes of seeing a third title were crushed.

Until now!

Sierra, most known for titles such as King's Quest and Quest for Glory, to name a few, is being resurrected thanks to Activision Blizzard. Sierra already has two games announced, one being a new King's Quest game slated for 2015, and the other (in case you haven't guessed after reading my brief anecdote up to) is Geometry Wars3: Dimensions.

Geometry Wars3: Dimensions will be launching this Holiday Season, and will introduce a slew of new mechanics, such as full 3D action, cooperative and competitive multiplayer, as well as a full single-player campaign that will have 50 unique challenges and over 10 battle modes, 5 of which are brand new to the series.

King's Quest will revolve around King Graham who is revered as the greatest adventurer to ever live. He recounts his life with his curious granddaughter, Gwendolyn. It is through these tales that Gwendolyn discovers the true greatness of her grandfather.
