Shrapnel
Games Announces New Information on All American

Game
development is temporarily on hold due to increased demand for
published
titles.

Cary,
NC, June 14, 2000

Shrapnel
Games announced today that the widely anticipated
follow-up
to 101: The Airborne Invasion of Normandy, All American:
The
82nd Airborne at Normandy, has been temporarily put on hold due
to
increased demand for their currently published titles.

Richard
Arnesen, Director of Covert Operations for Shrapnel Games,
said,
"When we first founded Shrapnel Games we had no idea how
popular
many of the great games we are publishing now would become.
Due
to this incredible growth period we are saddened to announce
that
All American has to be put on hold while we endeavor to support
our
developer community and our customers. In future weeks there
will
be exciting announcements coming from us that will further
elaborate
why this action was necessary at the current time.
However
I want to emphasize that the game will be completed but
just
at a later date. As of right now we do not have an updated
release
date, but are currently thinking the release will come at
the
end of the year. We will keep the 101 fans informed."

Tim
Brooks, President of Shrapnel Games, added, "Next week, we will
be
contacting all those who have pre-ordered All American and
offering
them a refund. Of course they can keep the game on
pre-order
if they so choose."

When
asked why the delay, Mr. Brooks commented, "We have some very
exciting
news coming in the next few weeks that will clarify
everything.
I wish I could say more, but we are under an NDA."

Established

in
the wings. As Shrapnel Games continues to grow and develop we
are
always looking for new developers, programmers, artists,
