SEGA Rolls Out Super Monkey Ball
Touch & Roll Exclusively on the Nintendo DS
AiAi and the Super Monkey Ball
Gang Return For More Fun
SEGA® of America, Inc. today
announced the release of Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll on the Nintendo DS. Join
AiAi, MeeMee, GonGon, and Baby as they journey through 10 worlds and over 50 new
stages in true classic Super Monkey Ball style. Players can now use the Nintendo
DS stylus and touch screen to play a robust single-player mode and action-packed
multiplayer wireless modes.
Return to the ‘monkey madness’ while
rolling the monkey ball around with your stylus or using the Control Pad to
reach your goals and unlock new worlds. Play alone in Practice Mode rehearsing
the levels you find most difficult, or play Party Games with friends in
Multiplayer Mode.
“Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll
offers both classic and brand new addictive multiplayer games while delivering a
compelling single-player game, as well,” said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President
of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. “The Nintendo DS’s stylus and touch screen
allow for an innovative, portable way to experience the Super Monkey Ball
series.”
These mad monkeys boast a total of
six games in Party Mode for both single and multiplayer action. Players can
challenge friends to a Monkey Race or box their way to victory in Monkey Fight.
Additionally, nothing could be more satisfying than hitting a hole-in-one on
Monkey Mini Golf or striking ‘em down with Monkey Bowling. Exclusive to the DS
system are two brand new party games! Monkey Hockey and Monkey Wars will ensure
that the monkey mayhem never stops!
Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll is
rated “E” for ‘Everyone’ by the Entertainment Software Rating Board, and is
available at retailers nationwide for an MSRP of $29.95.
