Sega Announces Super Thunder Blade for the Virtual Wii

SEGA ANNOUNCES SUPER THUNDER BLADE FOR THE Wii
VIRTUAL CONSOLE

SEGA®
of America, Inc. today announced that the SEGA Genesis classic,
Super Thunder Blade
will be available for download on the Wii Shop Channel September
17, 2007. Prices start at 800 Wii Points for SEGA Genesis titles. Wii Points
can be purchased online or at select retailers at an MSRP of $20 for 2,000
points.

– In this follow-up to Thunder Blade,
gamers take control of a new and improved attack helicopter in a series of
attacks against guerilla armies that are bent on taking over the world.
Although your aircraft is formidable, enemies are vast and varied including
submarines, tanks, fighter planes, and more.  Commanding this
state-of-the-art battle copter must be top-notch. Players must dodge
oncoming fire, use various weapons to eliminate all enemy targets, and
ultimately destroy a top-secret guerilla base.

The Wii
Shop Channel serves as the Wii’s online storefront where visitors can redeem
Wii Points to download games. Users need a high-speed Internet connection to
access the Wii Shop Channel. Users can buy Wii Points at retail or with a
credit card online from the Wii Shop Channel and redeem their Wii Points to
download these and other classic games.
