Announces God of War III Ultimate Edition
Housed in a Replica of Pandora’s
Box, the will Include Premium Collectible and Digital Content for Fans New
and Old; Now Available for Pre-Order

(SCEA) announced today the worldwide release of the God of War III Ultimate
Edition available exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Built by the fans and for
the fans of the award-winning God of War franchise, the God of War III Ultimate
Edition will feature an assortment of exclusive collectible and digital content
encased in a high-end sculpted replica of Pandora’s Box. Scheduled to release
along with God of War III in March 2010, consumers can pre-order their copy of
the God of War III Ultimate Edition beginning today from select retailers and
receive a free PlayStation Network voucher code to download the God of War III
E3 2009 demo.
"The God of War franchise has an
incredibly loyal fanbase and we know they will be extremely excited with all the
exclusive content and memorabilia we’ve packed into God of War III Ultimate

waiting patiently for the arrival of God of War III for the PS3, we wanted to
make sure their anticipation was properly rewarded."
In addition to a copy of the highly
anticipated God of War III and the limited-edition art book, fans will receive
exclusive digital content headlined by the director’s cut of God of War:
Unearthing the Legend, a full-length movie documentary depicting the history of
the God of War franchise. The Ultimate Edition will also include God of War-
inspired downloadable music in the form of the God of War Trilogy soundtrack and
the God of War Heavy Metal EP (Extended Play). Lastly, fans will have access to
the God of War Combat Arena, containing an exclusive environment and up to seven
unique challenges, as well as the exclusive Kratos skin, Dominus, all available
for download via the PlayStation Network. The God of War III Ultimate Edition
will retail for $99.99 (MSRP).
Fans will also have the option to
pre-order their copy of God of War III today. Those who pre-order a copy of God
of War III and/or God of War III Ultimate Edition will have their Kratos reunion
earlier than expected and will receive a PlayStation Network voucher code for
the E3 2009 demo, playable TODAY!
