Rumor: Insider sources support Mass Effect: Andromeda’s alleged single-player DLC cancellation rumor

Yesterday, a BioWare debunked a rumor stating that Mass Effect: Andromeda's single-player DLC had been canceled and today new sources are supporting that rumor.

While BioWare and EA debunked the rumor, saying they never heard of the company or Facebook page that had been claiming Mass Effect: Andromeda's DLC had been canceled, someone else was doing their research. It should be noted, however, that in the same statement that BioWare/EA released to debunk the rumor, they made it clear they "don’t have any news to share at this time regarding DLC."

So, they basically said they rumor was false but did not provide any hope or hint at future content.

According to Kotaku, inside sources have confirmed what the previous rumor suggested:

"…over the past few weeks I’ve confirmed the news with three sources familiar with the company’s plans, all of whom spoke anonymously so as not to jeopardize their careers. Unless BioWare decides to make some sort of drastic pivot (plans can always change!), Mass Effect: Andromeda will not be getting single-player DLC."

If Andromeda does not see single-player DLC, it will be the first game in the series to go without additional campaign content.
