Perform At Spike TV Video Game Awards

LOS ANGELES – Dec. 8, 2004 – The
original four members of Los Angeles glam-metal band Mötley Cre have reunited
after six years and will perform live for the first time since their comeback at
the Spike TV Video Game Awards Show, scheduled to air Tuesday, Dec. 14. The
return of Mötley Cre’s distinctive rock sound will strike a cord with many fans
at the Spike awards when the band drives home a thrill-packed medley featuring
their theme song "Girls, Girls, Girls" and "Home Sweet Home." Hosted by hip-hop
impresario and avid gamer Snoop Dogg, the Spike TV Video Game Awards will also
feature musical performances by Snoop Dogg & Pharrell ("Drop It Like It’s Hot"
and "Let’s Get Blown"); Sum 41 ("No Reason" from upcoming release of NFL Street
2 in stores Dec. 26); and Ludacris ("Get Back" his first single from Red Light
District). Also, just added to the impressive performer line-up, is dynamic
hip-hop artist Busta Rhymes, who will bang out a surprise rendition. To top the
event off, NYC’s renowned DJ Funkmaster Flex will spin tracks throughout the
show and serve as the awards’ official announcer.
