Capcom has officially dated the upcoming Resident Evil 4 HD and Resident Evil: Code Veronica HD remakes. According to GameSpot, the company made the big announcement at this year’s Comic-Con. Japan will get the games in a bundle on September 8, while North America receives the graphically upgraded games at a slightly later date.
Arriving first will be Resident Evil 4 HD, which will land September 20. Gamers will have one week to finish that title, as Resident Evil: Code Veronica HD will drop September 27. That’s a lot of Resident Evil goodness in a really short period of time!
Capcom has stated that the games will be available digitally. But for those who would rather have physical copies of the games so they can look at the shiny discs, retail copies will also be available. (You know who you are!)
Be sure to mark September 20 and 27 on your calendars, folks. If you’ve been waiting to play two acclaimed entries in the Resident Evil series, you’ll get the chance in just two short months. The two HD remakes will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Watch out for them.
