Resident Evil 6’s TGS trailer reminds us there’s story with our zombie killing

Capcom has released a new trailer for upcoming shooter Resident Evil 6. Previously shown at Capcom's booth during the Tokyo Game Show last week, the new trailer features intense action and lots of high tension situations with a heavy emphasis on the game's narrative.

Featuring three separate campaigns, you play as Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Jake Muller in a campaign that's at least twice in length compared to Resident Evil 5. Capcom, for a while now, has been touting the length and depth of Resident Evil 6's story, and this trailer gives us a heavy dose of it…along with the expected action and explosions.

For a "clueless gamer" like Conan, a game such as Resident Evil 6 shouldn't have story, but for me I appreciate the effort Capcom seems to have put in to develop a memorable narrative experience.

Resident Evil 6 is set to release on Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 2. A PC version will follow shortly after.
