Last
week Thought Guild Inc announced general availability of the Realm OverseerT

fantasy worlds, towns and dungeons. It works in synergy with widely popular
world editing Campaign CartographerT 2 packages and Forgotten RealmsT

to provide superior level of realism for CC2-based maps and a whole new range
of outstanding features for RPG players. Realm OverseerT includes real-time
dynamic map overview/manipulation, traveling across the world surface in first
person view, multiple weather settings, dynamic illumination from Sun and Moon
and many other features. Realm OverseerT 3D is ideal solution to visualize
fantasy worlds with incredible realism and take advantage of latest
developments in computer 3D graphics. Realm Overseer allows for either 3D
conversion of old 2D maps from Campaign CartographerT 2 and Forgotten RealmsT
Interactive Atlas, or creating full 3D maps with Campaign CartographerT 2.

"We
are very proud that Realm Overseer is now broadly available. For years, the
tools for RPG enthusiasts were behind latest developments in 3D computer
gaming area. Use of computers to enhance role-playing experience usually ended
after the point of preparing the information and printing it out on paper.
With Realm Overseer this is no longer true," said Max Skibinsky,
president and CEO of Thought Guild Inc. "Now its very easy to create and
visualize your very own world in fully realistic 3D view, with same quality,
performance and speed we are used to in latest 3D games. On top of that
software allows you to create self-executable 3D world sub-maps to send to
your players, or 3D Java applet for your website. This is finally a complete
solution."

"Realm
Overseer right now is clearly one of the most advanced helper tools for any
table top map-based games," said Andrew Vodeniktov, Director of Software
Development of Thought Guild Inc. "Realm Overseer is built using latest
developments in DirectX/Direct3D technology, which are additionally enhanced
by our proprietary 3D algorithms. Our 3D engine is as powerful as most first
person shooter 3D games you encounter today. Maps as large as 5000+ fully
textured 3D models with 100-300 polygons each can be created and this number
could be even higher on high end systems".
