After the recent release of Rayman Origins, Ubisoft has decided to bring back one of the older entries in the series. Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc will be dropping on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, and it will be getting a nice HD makeover. This should be great news for fans of the series, or those who played Origins and would like to get acquainted with the series' roots.
You'll get the original Rayman 3 gameplay, but according to Ubisoft, there will also be a number of new features. Unlockable content, mini-games, Achievements/Trophies, and online leaderboards all round out the extras in this package. This should definitely entice gamers, as extra stuff is usually pretty cool.
The game's presentation will also be spruced up. Aside from the HD visuals, the game will be updated to 60 frames per second. Additionally, the sound will also see some tweaks to ensure that it's on par with modern standards.
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc returns to consoles in HD form in spring 2012. Stay tuned for pricing details. In the meantime, why not check out our review of Rayman Origins and play that game for the time being?
