Ubisoft took a moment at the Electronic Entertainment Expo last month to reveal Rabbids Invasion, an interactive television experience for Microsoft's Xbox One, which launches this November. Kids can enjoy the show a little earlier, though.
The company confirmed today on its blog that Rabbids Invasion will debut on Nickelodeon at 11:30 a.m. ET/PT on Saturday, August 3. Each of the first 26 episodes will last a half-hour, and they'll be available on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, PlayStation Store, Samsung Media Hub, and Vudu the day after they air.
Episodes consist of three ministories each. The first ones are “Omelet Party,” “Rabbid Mollusk,” and “Rabbid, Are You There?”.
On July 17, the Nick.com/rabbids website will open up, and fans can access the Rabbids Rhythm Game online starting August 26.
Xbox One support for the show uses the console's voice and motion-control functionality. Viewers will also be able to interact with the Rabbids onscreen through their mobile devices.
