Interactive Software Inc. Announces that "Outlive" has Gone Gold.

 

NEW
YORK-March 13, 2001-Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO),
announced today that "Outlive" has gone gold and will ship to
retailers by the end of the month.

 

Developed
by Continuum Entertainment, Outlive, which combines innovative artificial
intelligence with highly addictive game play, is the first real-time strategy
game to come out of Brazil.

 

"Outlive
is not only a great game that we are excited about publishing," said
Take-Two Interactive Vice President of Business Development and Publishing
Operations Jamie Leece. "But, it affirms our commitment to attract
quality content and development talent on a global basis."

 

Players
have the opportunity to develop two distinct races (humans and robots) into
supreme fighting forces by researching technology, stealing information and
ultimately destroying the enemy. Outlive will feature three epic campaigns,
more than 40 single maps and over 20 units. In addition, multiplayer support
is available for up to 16 players via LAN or over the Internet through the
Continuum Gaming Server, a free matchmaking service for Outlive players
