Possible Half-Life 3 Website Appears Online

This could be the best Christmas present or the cruelest joke, but a new website has popped up online teasing what appears to be the new Half-Life 3 game.

Black-Aperture.com went live today, showing off a logo for a possible Half-Life 3 game, along with all of the trademark items of the game and its developers.  The teaser image appears to be a placeholder and when you click on it, it takes you to the Half-Life 2 website.

However, when you look closely at the teaser image you can see a hidden Aperture Science logo, similar to what was seen being worn by a Valve employee earlier this month.  Earlier this month, Chandana Ekanayak of Uber Entertainment posted a photo of the t-shirt on his Twitter account.  As you can see, it's very similar to the image that appears on the new site.

Shortly after, rumors swirled that an unnamed “US-Based voice actor” told OXM that lines for Half Life Episode 3 have been recorded. This, of course, is only the beginning.

While Half-Life 3 is probably a go at this point – given the hype and demand for a new game, I'm a little hesitant to believe this is actually the first tease.  If it is, then boy had Valve better rethink their web designer.  Those floating particles in the background are very amatuerish and something you'd see in the 90s.

As of this time, there has been no official press releases or other information about the game or the new website that has mysteriously popped up.
