Portal 2 for PC gets split-screen co-op mode

Finally, PC gamers can play Portal 2 the way console gamers can: in split-screen.

Valve has added a split-screen option to the puzzle-platformer's co-op mode on PC — a feature already available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

A new patch now enables Big Picture mode as well, allowing gamers on Steam to opt for TV and gamepad play.

The update also fixes two bugs in Big Picture mode: the controller's "quick ping" button causing player movements to stop and not being able to leave the Robot Enrichment or Create Test Chambers menus with the controller.
