So you grabbed all the evolution stones you needed and are making your way through Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon. Now it's time for the big boys. You know what I mean, those Mythical and Legendary Pokemon!
Unfortunately, you'll have to complete the game for a number of the Legendary Pokemon to be yours, but there's always a chance that Nintendo will give them away via codes like they did Magearna. Below, you can find out how to obtain the Legendary and Mythical Pokemon!
Legendary Pokemon Locations
Zygarde – Dragon/Ground
To obtain Zygarde Convert 10 or more Cells in Route 16.
Tapu Koko – Electric/Fairy
Tapu is found in the Ruins of Conflict and can be captured after interacting with the totem after completing the game.
Tapu Lele – Psychic/Fairy
After completing the game and fly to Ruins of Life in Akala Island and touch the totem.
Tapu Bulu – Grass/Fairy
Complete the game and fly to Ruins of Abundance. Interact with the totem.
Tapu Fini – Water/Fairy
IComplete the game and fly to Ruins of Hope in the Poni Island. Interact with the totem! Ultra Balls are extra effective.
Cosmog – Psychic
Complete the game and head over to the Altar of Sunne and head inside the portal.
From there, head over to the Lake of the Moon and step on the pedestal to acquire the Cosmog.
Cosmoem – Psychic
Evolution of Cosmog
Solgaleo – Psychic/Steel
You automatically get this Pokemon during the course of the game.
Lunala – Psychic/Ghost
You automatically get this Pokemon during the course of the game.
Necrozma – Psychic
Necrozma can be found in Ten Carat Hill -Farthest Hollow roaming in the Cave at all hours of the day.
Magearna – Steel/Fairy
The little Mythical Pokemon which requires a QR code, which can be easily obtained. Head here for more information!
Marshadow – Fighting/Ghost
An event Pokemon.
