Now your toddler can be just like Sheldon Cooper

Maybe it's because my wife and our Editor-in-Chief Michael Splechta's wife are weeks from their due dates, but this is for the geeky mom or dad looking to bring out their toddler's inner-superhero. Or maybe you just want your kid to have a different DC Comics hero shirt for every day of the week, like Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory.

ThinkGeek.com has these adorable superhero toddler shirts available for purchase. They go for $16.99 a shirt, so if you want one of each, you'll be dishing out quite a bit of cash. I'm gonna stay away from purchasing the Green Lantern shirt for my son until they make a movie worth a damn, and I also don't know how I feel about him rocking a Wonder Woman t-shirt. Lucky for my son, cool t-shirts are my kryptonite, so I'll be purchasing the other three shirts.

You can head over to ThinkGeek.com to purchase a few for your kid or your friend's kid, or just a random kid you spot at a playground (GameZone does not condone going up to random kids at playgrounds, unless you're hitting on their single mom, and even then, you should be approaching the mom, not the child). ThinkGeek also provides some tips for which shirt would be good for your child. For example:

  • Superman: It's a bird! It's a plane! It's… another bruise from jumping off the monkey bars.
  • The Flash: Parents warn the babysitter, "DO NOT TAKE YOUR EYES OFF HIM OR YOU WILL LOSE HIM."
