Guitar Hero World Tour

Activision has revealed some new
info about a few Guitar Hero World Tour DLC track packs. The sixth European
Track Pack is available today for Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and Wii and features
the following songs:

  • Placebo – “The Bitter End”
    (France)

Additionally, progressive rock band
Phish will make their first appearance in Guitar Hero with three live recordings

The Phish Live Track Pack features
live recordings of “Sample in a Jar,” one of their few studio recordings
released as a single, “Down with Disease,” which appeared throughout pop culture
in the mid-90’s and led to a surge in the band’s popularity, and “Chalk Dust
Torture,” the song lead guitarist Trey Anastasio once called his favorite to
play on stage.

Ben Harper and Relentless7’s first
time in the virtual spotlight on the Guitar Hero stage features the following
three tracks off of White Lies for Dark Times: “Number With No Name,” “Shimmer &
Shime” and “Fly One Time.”

The sixth European Track Pack can be
downloaded from Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 440 Microsoft Points and from the
PlayStation Store for $5.49. The songs are also available as singles for 160
