New Spec Ops trailer showcases The Damned vs. The Exiles multiplayer

2K Games has released a new trailer for Spec Ops: The Line, the upcoming third-person military shooter set to hit store shelves on June 26th, 2012. This trailer highlights the online multiplayer in Spec Ops: The Line, featuring a look at the intimate and intense 4-on-4 class based combat set in the sandstorm ravaged city of Dubai. The online multiplayer in Spec Ops: The Line also features a deep ranking system, allowing players to unlock perks and other unique customizations as their character progresses.

As a reminder, fans who pre-order Spec Ops: The Line from participating retailers will receive a free upgrade to the Premium Edition, containing the following online multiplayer content:

  • Twice the amount of experience points will be awarded during the first week of play, enabling gamers to expedite character ranking;
  • The AK-47 weapon will unlock at rank one;
  • The “Officer Class” will unlock at rank one. This character class includes several team-based advantages, such as reducing damage to teammates and increasing the effectiveness of other classes;
  • Access to the “FUBAR Pack,” which contains exclusive accessories allowing players to customize their characters with unique and visually distinctive items.
