New faction coming to Total War: Warhammer today as free DLC

For liege and Lady!

Total War: Warhammer keeps on getting bigger and bigger and today developer Creative Assembly launched a big piece of FREE-LC in the form of a whole new faction.

The new, and free, playable faction joining the roster in Total War: Warhammer is Bretonnia, the fantasy version of France! Creative Assembly has pumped out a rather large amount of DLC for Total War: Warhammer and only a few minor characters have been free, but now they are adding a whole new playable faction, including story and all.

The Bretonnians come with three new Legendary Lords to play as in the Grand Campaign, the Bretonnian feudal society incorporated in the campaign, new units for the cavalry focused Bretonnians, and the Green Knight himself.

To rule Bretonnia players will have to remember to stay chivalrous. If players aren't chivalrous enough then it will directly affect their campaign, and the protector of Bretonnia himself, the Green Knight, will never offer his services to an unchivalrous leader.

Total War: WARHAMMER – The Kingdom of Bretonnia is available right now for FREE on Steam, so go and download it and pledge the Knight's vow!

"I pledge my service and my loyalty, body and soul, to my Lord. When the clarion call is sounded, I will ride out and fight in the name of liege and Lady. Whilst I draw breath, the lands bequeathed unto me will remain untainted by evil. Honor is All! Chivalry is All! This I swear on my blood and my breath"

In other Total War: Warhammer news, the Vampire faction is also getting a new Legendary Lord with Isabella von Carstein, though she does not come with nearly as much content as the Bretonnians does. And no honorable Bretonnian would even consider playing as a filthy vampire.
