NES Mini hacked to allow double the amount of games

Hey now...

The NES Mini has been a hot seller for Nintendo and has received great reviews from those who could find one. Fans that have been asking about other games added to the console now have their answer, as modders have figured out how to add games to the console.

Since the NES Mini uses ROMs and save states rather than cartridges, hackers have found that if you upload the memory to your PC you can then include the ROM file of any new game before placing it back on your NES Mini. The hack reveals that the console has a limit of exactly double the amount of games included at launch and can hold 60 games. The NES Mini launched with 30 games and included classics like all three Super Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda and Punch-Out!.

Of course, if you attempt this incorrectly you may end up bricking your console, so do so at your own risk. The NES Mini is selling at $50 at retail and upwards of several hundred second hand. Which games do you wish were included on the NES Mini? Spyhunter anyone?
