THERE’S DANGER ON THE HIGH SEAS
AS HER INTERACTIVE ANNOUNCES ‘NANCY DREW: RANSOM OF THE SEVEN SHIPS’

20th Installment of Award Winning
PC Game Series Scheduled for July

With their continued sales success
again proving the considerable demand for smart and inspiring gameplay for
females, Her Interactive, Inc., the designer, developer and distributor of the
award winning Nancy Drew™ PC adventure game series, today announced the 20th
installment in the series, Nancy Drew®: Ransom of the Seven Ships. With a
history of increasing sales year-over-year, last year Her Interactive surprised
several industry pundits when Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy secured
a spot as one of the top 20 PC games sold during the competitive month of
December*.

“Our sales success is not surprising
to us as our last four games have all achieved top ranking on NPD sales charts.
However, it is gratifying to us as it validates our belief that the female
audience is significant and expanding, and that our intelligent, inspiring and
fun games resonate with them in a very captivating way,” said Megan Gaiser,
President and CEO of Her Interactive. “Our 20th game in the series is a great
milestone for us, and our 2009 lineup promises to enhance the franchise in
subtle ways that could attract an even wider audience.”

In Nancy Drew: Ransom of the Seven
Ships, Nancy Drew, and her best friends Bess and George travel to the Bahamas
for a fun-filled vacation when Bess is suddenly kidnapped and held for ransom.
Throughout the game, players assume the role of either Nancy or George,
depending on the scene, as they search for the missing artifact from the “Seven
Virtues” fleet that will rescue Bess from the kidnappers. During the quest for
the lost treasure, players will immerse themselves in the Bahamas diving,
sailing, and interacting with wildlife. They will also decrypt a riddle book,
unlock treasure chests and explore dangerous underwater shipwrecks.

Rated “E” for Everyone, Nancy Drew:
Ransom of the Seven Ships will be available this July for purchase at retailers
nationwide, as well as from the Her Interactive website for a suggested retail
price at $19.99.
