Mortal Kombat and Enter the Dragon are the same movie

Shame *ring ring ring* Shame.

When Enter the Dragon released in 1973 it put Kung-Fu on the map for tons of people. The iconic film has been labeled as "culturally significant" in the United States and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress – that's how big of an impact it made.

You wouldn't be surprised to hear that 1995's Mortal Kombat film essentially put that film on a pedestal, then ripped it off.

There is no denying that the Mortal Kombat film is great in its awfulness, but it essentially tells the same story as Enter the Dragon – only with Goro and other superpowered fighters. There's a lot of overlay between the story and YouTuber J. Matthew Turner has made a video bringing the over-abundance of overlays to light.

You can finally put those crippling thoughts of 'were they the same movie' to rest.
