Warriors of Might and Magic and Heroes of Might and Magic – Quest for the
Dragonbone Staff Online Quests announced
ye, hear ye. Warriors of Might and Magic has been unleashed for the
PlayStation2, and celebrations are occurring across the lands. When it rains,
it pours, because Heroes of Might and Magic – Quest for the Dragonbone Staff
is almost ready for release as well. There’s treasure up in them-there hills,
and if you are brave, wise and smart enough (and an Australian resident), some
of it can be yours. There’s four PlayStation console systems up for grabs for
the most successful adventurers, both of which come packaged with a shiny new
copy of Warriors of Might and Magic as well as Heroes of Might and Magic –
Quest for the Dragonbone Staff.
top of that, every player who completes both quests goes into the draw for a
major prize, which includes a PlayStation2, copies of the games, and get this:
a weekend away at Kryal Castle incorporating a return economy airfare for
winner and friend from the closest capital city to Melbourne, 3 nights
accommodation in the Castle, dinner in the theatre restaurant one evening
(subject to availability) and even car hire for the duration of the stay.
we’ve got your attention, here’s how you play:
PlayNOW! Might and Magic Quests are ‘choose your own adventure’ style games
that you play with your default web browser. Written and designed by Josh
‘Borg’ Holmes, the quests are medieval adventures loosely themed upon Warriors
of Might and Magic and Heroes of Might and Magic – Quest for the Dragonbone
Staff, and will include four engaging and challenging chapters each. Players
embark upon their quest by entering their name and email address, and their
statistics are tracked as the quest begins. When a player completes a chapter,
they will be able to enter the following chapter and continue their quest. A
new chapter will be released for each quest each Friday for four consecutive
weeks. The Warriors of Might and Magic quest is now live, and the Heroes of
Might and Magic quest will launch on the 1st of June, 2001.
object of the game is to move through the adventure as efficiently and safely
as possible. When the quest begins, both your health status and page
impressions are tracked. The healthier you are and the fewer pages you click
on to complete each chapter, the better you are doing. The quest involves
challenges, puzzles and even combat. Be cautious though, because the wrong
turn can lead to disaster.
details of the competition can be found at the official website, including
complete rules, prize list and quest log in.
