Midway Declassifies Blacksite: Area 51 To Retail Stores

First-Person-Shooter Sees Aliens Battle in the Streets of Small-Town America

Midway Games Inc., a leading
interactive entertainment publisher and developer, today announced that
BlackSite: Area 51™ is now shipping to retail outlets nationwide. Combining
cutting-edge technology and smart game design, BlackSite: Area 51 is a
first-person shooter that brings squad-based and intense combat action to the
streets of small-town America. BlackSite: Area 51 is scheduled to be available
for a U.S. suggested retail price of $59.99 for the Xbox 360™ video game and
entertainment system from Microsoft and $49.99 for PCs. A version for the
PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system is scheduled to be released in
December. BlackSite: Area 51 is rated "T" for Teen by Entertainment Software
Ratings Board (ESRB).

LIVE Marketplace has been downloaded more than a million times, and Midway plans
to soon release a new, updated demo that allows players to take to the streets
in Rachel, NV, controlling their squad and blasting through fully-realistic and
interactive environments using the latest in military weaponry. A PlayStation 3
demo is also scheduled to be released soon after the game’s North American
