Matrix Games teams with Vicious Byte
to bring you Titans of Steel Warring Suns.
October 9th, 2001 Staten Island, New York
Matrix Games (http://www.matrixgames.com)
is proud to announce that it will publish Titans of Steel Warring Suns, the
latest game from Vicious Byte (http://www.viciousbyte.com).
Titans of Steel Warring Suns is a turn- and hex-based tactical game that gives
players command of giant fighting machines and their human pilots.
Buoyed by the excellent reviews of its first
Titans of Steel game, Vicious Byte has been developing Titians of Steel
Warring Suns for over a year. Improved graphics, sound, AI, and interface are
just a few of the many enhancements gamers can expect. A Scenario Editor will
allow players to create and modify their own battles.
“The tactics in this game are very deep,”
says Matrix Director of Operations David Heath. “Its system of time- and
turn-based play makes it very different type of game.”
“Our dedication to this design, combined with
the support of Matrix, will give players the game they want,” says Eric
Petersen of Vicious Byte.

Wargamers are also looking forward to two
other Matrix titles that should be released this fall. Uncommon Valor, the
latest game from legendary designer Gary Grigsby, is an operational-level
simulation of the campaign for the South Pacific from 1942 to the end of 1943.
Players will have at their disposal every ship and plane that fought in that
bitter duel between the Allies and Japan. Also forthcoming is Starships
Unlimited II, a space exploration and colonization strategy game combining the
flow of real-time strategy games with the detailed control of turn-based
games.
