Magic Leap shows off intriguing Augmented Reality game

I want to play this in my office!

Magic Leap had every intention of attending the TED Event this week, but for some reason the company pulled out at last minute. The Google-backed company had plans for the event though, plans that they had to share regardless of whether or not they attended.

Their TED Talk would have revealed the Augmented Reality game that they have been working on, a game that uses Weta Workshop artist Dr. Grordbort's steampunk items and robots. The video's description reads that it is a game that Magic Leap has been "playing around the office."

This could very well be true gameplay from game, and if that's the case…that's awesome! It could also be a mockup of what they are working on making a reality. Either way, there isn't much known about the system or the game — besides the fact that the AR system allows you to access Gmail and YouTube (Google-backed, remember?).

Check out the gameplay in the video above, let us know what you think.
