#1 Casual Game Brand of 2005 Continues
Dominance
Leading casual games developer and publisher
MumboJumbo announced their smash hit LUXOR brand has exceeded 40 million
downloads since its debut in 2005 and is still going strong. The success of the
original LUXOR game was quickly followed by LUXOR Amun Rising, making LUXOR the
#1 casual game brand of last year and the biggest arcade-style puzzle game ever
launched in the casual space.
GameDaily says LUXOR "has a splendid
presentation, with beautiful Egyptian design, moody music, superb sound effects,
and great little graphic details….A definite must-have for your computer."
This month the company has introduced LUXOR
Mahjong, and the game is already among the top downloads on popular casual
gaming sites where it has debuted.
"Everyone who’s been salivating for more LUXOR
will soon have all the ancient Egyptian fun they can handle," commented Mark
Cottam, CEO of MumboJumbo. "Most fans play for about 45 hours per month as it
is. With the debut of LUXOR Mahjong, these folks might never see their friends
and family again!"
LUXOR Mahjong sends you on an epic quest to find
the stolen treasures of Ancient Egypt. Search for the Golden Ankh Keys to unlock
chamber doors, and recover some of Egypt’s greatest riches to ascend the ranks
of society from a lowly farmhand to the Pharaoh of all Egypt! The game features
200 distinctive mahjong layouts, magical power-ups, three difficulty settings
and a unique player ranking system to make LUXOR Mahjong fun for the entire
family.
LUXOR fans have even more to look forward to this
fall with the anticipated release of LUXOR 2. With all-new levels, power-ups,
stunning graphics, and explosive, non-stop gameplay, LUXOR 2 takes the challenge
to a whole new level of excitement!
