Despite E3 2015 giving us a look at gameplay in Kingdom Hearts 3, we still don't know very much about the game. Game director Tetsuya Nomura has promised that more news will be available in November during Japan's D23 Expo, but to hold us over he is sharing a bit of information on the game in interviews.
The world in Kingdom Hearts 3 shouldn't be compared to massively open-worlds like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but it will be "far bigger than previous Kingdom Hearts titles," according to Nomura. Kingdom Hearts 3 will be as "seamless" as we saw in the E3 gameplay trailer (shown above).
How many worlds will be available in Kingdom Hearts 3? Currently the development team has "prepared" more worlds than were in Kingdom Hearts 2, but this does not mean that the game will feature all of these worlds though. The development team always plans more worlds than actually appear in the game. It gives the developers the option to refine the worlds they want to appear in the game.
