Injustice: Gods Among Us Battle Edition comes with a limited edition fight stick on April 16th

If you haven’t heard of Injustice: Gods Among Us by now, you are truly living under a rock. This could possibly be the fighting game of 2013. When DC Comic characters collide in the ultimate fighter, you get Injustice. This game will be coming out for Xbox 360 and PS3 in North America on April 16th. Where else are you going to have a line up like as Batman, Green Arrow, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and The Joker all duking it out? Don’t answer that.

Injustice: Gods Among Us already looks amazing, but the features of the Battle Edition blew my mind. From GameStop in the US and Canada you can preorder this bad boy. For $150 you get the game, limited editions fight stick, artwork, and three exclusive skins (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman). The fight stick is lightweight, has a non-skid foam underside, has lockout features for buttons, and has illuminated buttons and joystick. On top of that – it looks pretty damn rad.

Separately from the Battle Edition is the Injustice: Gods Among Us Collector’s Edition. This will be sold for $100 from GameStop as well in North America.  This collection includes:

  • Exclusive DC Collectibles statue featuring iconic characters Batman and Wonder Woman, the Fortress of Solitude, and the Last Son of Krypton’s escape ship
  • Special Collector's Edition of the Injustice: Gods Among Us comic book
  • Digital download of DC Universe animated film Justice League: Doom
  • Three exclusive skins based on Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman from DC COMICS – THE NEW 52

Injustice Colelctor

Also available as of today, is the Injustice: Gods Among Us digital comic book from DC Entertainment. The comic sets up the events of the game in that whole prequel sort of sense. These heroes are fighting to determine the fate of humanity’s future, NBD. A new chapter of the weekly comic will be released for $1 every Tuesday. Three digital copies will be collected in print and available monthly. You can download comic #1 today at, through the DC Comic app, or on the iBookstore, Kindle Store, or Nook Store.

EDIT: Injustice will NOT be out for Wii U April 16th
