Players of all ages will enjoy the fun and highly
addictive Hot Potato!

SAN JOSE, Calif. (June 28, 2001) – Silly spuds
from outer space have taken over the streets, as BAM! Entertainment launches its
second Game Boy Advance title, Hot Potato! Players will be amused as they
maneuver through levels of constant craziness, attempting to match up potatoes
and clear levels. Hot Potato! is an entertaining puzzle game featuring 14 levels
of constant screen action, bright colorful graphics, topped off with upbeat,
lively music. Hot Potato! for the Game Boy Advance is available for an estimated
street price of $39.99.

“Hot Potato! is a fast-action, addictive game,
reminiscent of the original puzzle style titles," said Scott Smith,
marketing manager, BAM! Entertainment. “The addictive nature of Hot Potato!
makes it the perfect handheld game for summer road trips, work breaks or just
kicking back.“

Zany spuds from Mars have inundated the streets
on Earth. The boy potatoes are spending their time hanging out in the streets
waiting for color-matched girl potatoes to come their way. Gamers must take
control of a bus loaded with girl potatoes, capture the boy spuds and bring them
to their spaceship so that the whole crazy ‘tater population can return to its
homeland. As the bus rolls down the road players will release waves of spuds
down the path ahead of them, and if they run into a potato of the same color,
they will save that potato. Each silly spud is animated, and flails its arms to
attract a player’s attention.

Bonus Points

Enriching the game’s experience are bonus
points that are scattered along the route. Hot Potato! levels have three
different speed lanes: 30 mph (Low),40 mph (Big) and 60 mph (Huge). Every time
players pop a potato they will be awarded points depending on the lane they’re
in. The higher the points in the lane you’re driving in, the faster the game
will run. To go for bigger points, gamers will have to risk moving at a faster
