Watch Dogs, Ubisoft's highly anticipated next-gen open world adventure, has PS4 and Xbox One owners impatitenly waiting to get a taste of the action. Sadly, they'll have to wait until the game releases in May; there isn't going to be a demo.
Jonathan Morin, Creative Director for Watch Dogs, answered a fan's question on Twitter regarding if we'd see a demo or not.
@Rawfan306 Dude relax, I receive too much tweets… They are no demo planned before release. Sorry for the wait, doing my best…

When asked for clarification, Morin obliged:
@DJPork Doing Demos take time, the focus is on the game. You will see more footage before release. Be patient & thanks for your passion. 🙂

So there you have it. No demo for Watch Dogs because demos take time. Ubisoft wants to spend that time working on a game that was originally set to release back in November. Can you honestly blame them?
