Here’s what Black Panther is doing in Captain America: Civil War

Captain America and Falcon aren't the only ones looking for The Winter Soldier

The next movie up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe chain of events after Ant-Man is the third Cap movie — Captain America: Civil War. We've already seen the beginnings of the feud between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but Age of Ultron also introduced some elements of another Marvel film, Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman).

Black Panther is getting his own film in 2018, but he'll appear in Captain America: Civl War before that. We saw a well-known Black Panther villain make an appearance in Age of Ultron, Ulysses Klaw played by Andy Serkis. But Klaw isn't the reason why Black Panther will be appearing in Civil War.

According to Umberto Gonzalez (Heroic Hollywood), Black Panther will be "on the hunt" for The Winter Soldier. The last time we saw The Winter Soldier, he was dragging Captain America out of the water, and then we saw him at the Smithsonian trying to figure out who he/Bucky Barnes is. Bucky will be back in Civil War, which makes sense considering Cap and Falcon have been searching for him as well.

It's not yet known why T'Challa aka Black Panther is looking for The Winter Soldier, but odds are we'll have a better idea in the trailers leading up to Captain America: Civil War's May 6, 2016 release.
