Microsoft and 343 Industries have announced Halo: Spartan Assault, the top-down action shooter previously available on Windows 8 devices, will be released for Xbox One on December 24, Christmas Eve. The Xbox 360 version will follow in January 2014.

The PC version of Battlefield 4received a surprise update today containing a number of fixes including one for the "shot behind cover when changing stance" bug.
