We're still loving the Steam holiday sale, which today continues with another great assortment of games, classics both new and old.
For the world builders among us, Sid Meyer's Civilization V is just $16.99 today (66% off), with all the DLC content similarly discounted. If building civilizations seems not epic enough, you might try indie title Universe Sandbox, a fun looking time-waster which lets players build their own planetary systems for just $2.49 (75% off).
For those craving a bit more action (perhaps starring a certain bald-headed action star), 2009's well recieved Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is just $4.99 (75% off). Though the real sci-fi deals seem to be the recently released Deus Ex: Human Revolution for just $16.99 (66% off) and Fallout: New Vegas for a very affordable $4.99 (75% off).
Also standing out are two classic franchises, both of which dredge up some fond gaming memories. First is Command & Conquer, all of the most recent releases 75% off, most just five bucks apiece. Arguably more exciting hoever are the Grand Theft Auto titles, with the entire series (minus offshoots like Chinatown Wars) available for just $12.49 (75% off). If you've really no interest in playing the other titles, at least snag Grand Theft Auto IV at $4.99. That's a damn fine deal for one damn fun game.
Lastly,Super Meat Boy is just $3.74 today (75% off), so if you weren't smart enough to pick up this awesome platformer during the most recent humble bundle, I reccomend you snag it at this price while you can. The game has just been updated with a set of special Christmas themed missions, which when completed earns you another present from Valve's Great Gift Pile. Sweet!
