Glóin joins the ranks in Guardians of Middle-earth

Glóin, son of Gróin and father of Gimli, will soon be available to put his dwarven axe in all his foes in Guardians of Middle-earth. As one of the 12 dwarves who joined Thorin Oakenshield to retake Erebor from Smaug, he has a long linage of impactful dwarves to Middle-earth. Later he would join the Council of Elrond in Rivendell to discuss the One Ring.

If you are a holder of the season pass, you’ll receive Glóin for free on the console of your choice, Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. As a reminder, Guardians of Middle-earth is free on PlayStation Network from February 4th – March 4th 2013. Two more guardians will be coming out later in the month. As a warrior, Glóin will focus on dealing damage to foes while also stunning them with his axe.

His abilities are listed below:

  • A Bit of Fire: Damages nearby enemies and gives Glóin haste
  • Durin’s Line: Damages all enemies in a target area
  • Dwarven Stubbornness: Increased resistances and lights enemies on fire that strike him
