Ubisoft announced today that former Oklahoma State wide receiver and upcoming NFL sensation Justin Blackmon is the second member of Team Ghost. Blackmon is the newest member of a select group of four celebrity gamers brought together to promote Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier; he joins NBA All-Star Kevin Love as a member of Team Ghost.
What is Team Ghost you ask? Just as Ghosts are the most elite soldiers and represent a complete rnage of skills on the battlefield, Team Ghost is a compiled group of gaming enthusiasts/celebrities that are among the best at what they do. Similar to how soldiers must work together in the field, each member of Team Ghost will play a unique role on the team.
"I'm really excited to be a part of Team Ghost,” said Justin Blackmon. “My role on the team is similar to the one I play on the football field. I’ll be quick off the line, get to where I need to be in a hurry, and more often than not, I’ll be the first one at the rally point after a successful mission."
Unfortunately, we'll have to wait to see who the remaining members of Team Ghost will be as they will be revealed in the coming weeks. For more information about Just Blackmon and Team Ghost, check out the exclusive Team Ghost hub.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be available May 22, 2012 for Xbxo 360 and PS3. It will be coming to PC on June 12, 2012.
