Even though Gears of War 3 is still three-plus weeks away from hitting store shelves, that has stopped EPIC from looking ahead to DLC. Today the developer has announced their own Season Pass for the soon-to-be blockbuster title, much like what you have seen from games like Mortal Kombat and GTA IV.
The Gears of War 3 Season Pass will be available on September 20th – only for a short time – for 2400 MSP ($30). The Season Pass will give players a 33 percent discount on the regular price of the four add-ons, which would normally cost you $45.
Shack News was one of the first to pick up the story:
“According to Microsoft, the Season Pass represents a 33 percent discount on the regular price of the four add-ons. (That means we can expect the regular price to be 3600 Microsoft Points, or $45.)
Gears 3 DLC will encompass both single and multiplayer offerings. As a bonus, all purchasers of the Season Pass will get the “exclusive Liquid Metal Weapon Set” for free.”
