According to Gamespot, Epic Games has confirmed that the recent delay of Gears of War 3 will allow them to host a multiplayer beta before the game’s release.
Additional details are not available at this time, but Cliffy’s ego and the obvious lack of any quality assurance concerning Gears of War 2’s multiplayer led to it being riddled with glitches, exploits, and lag. After selling 12 million units worldwide, it’s nice to see they’re finally taking things seriously.
