Nintendo's Virtual Console is welcoming an old friend from the Game Boy Advance tomorrow! Let's wave hello to, Fire Emblem.
Fire Emblem first released on the Game Boy Advance in 2003 and up until last years Fire Emblem Awakening, it was the highest rated Fire Emblem game to date.
The Game Boy Advance classic will be available Thursday, December 3rd, 2014 and will feature off-TV play on the Wii U's gamepad. It will cost $7.99, which feels like a hefty price to pay for an eleven year old game. Need to catch up on the story? Here's a quick description:
After centuries of peace, smoldering rivalries threaten to set the world aflame in a blaze of battle! The drums of war beat, noble houses plot treason, and allies becomes enemies. As Lycia stands poised for war, a shadowy figure manipulates empires for his own ends. Help them gather other heroes to fight beside them, taking care that they do not fall in battle; otherwise they are lost forever. Plan your strategy and command the field of war as you train and learn each unit's strengths and weaknesses. Become a master tactician, and douse the embers of war before they burn the world to ash!
