Free-to-Start Pokemon Rumble World can now be purchased as a physical game

But it comes with enough in-game currency to warrant the purchase price

I know what you're thinking. Why is Nintendo's putting a Free-to-Download game up for physical retail, when I can just get it for free on the eShop? No, it's not some super-evil corporate scam. Pokemon Rumble World is hitting retail shelves but it comes packed with enough value that players of the digital version just don't get. At least not without spending the exact same amount of money.

“We love giving our fans as many purchase options as possible,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “Players that love collecting physical games and all things Pokémon will now be able to add Pokémon Rumble World to their Nintendo 3DS collection.”

Pokemon Rumble World uses the freemium model with PokeDiamonds as its in game currency. Levels are unlocked by players using said PokeDiamonds to unlock them. With the physical copy of the game, players are given 3,000 PokeDiamonds right off the bat, which is the maximum amount players can unlock in the game.

This is a big year for Pokemon fans as later this year we are expecting to get an all new generation (or half gen as some are speculating) with Pokemon Sun and Moon
