After 48 days of straight writing, James Gunn has finally completed the first draft of Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
The writer/director took to Twitter to share the news, posting a simple picture of the script's cover page. The Tweet came along with a few hashtags, including "#NoSpoilers" and "#NotEventtheTitle" which suggests there might be more to the sequel's name than just a "2" at the end.

James also took to Facebook to apologize to the friends and family he ignored during this grueling 48-day process.
"Phew. After 48 days straight without a day off, the the first draft of #GotG2is done. I'm sorry to all my friends and family who I have ignored," he said.
Guardians of the Galaxy is slated for release in 2017. I don't care what Gunn says, there will be spoilers between now and then.
