Findmakarov.com, the website that rocked the gaming world last week, has nothing to do with Modern Warfare 3 or Activision, according to Geoff Keighley.
Activision released a statement shortly after the site’s arrival, declining all ties with it and the potential announcement of a new Modern Warfare installment. Keighley did some research of his own and landed on We Can Pretend, a creative studio in Toronto, Canada that’s launching a “visually spectacular” project inspired by Call of Duty on March 2.
The screenshot above was directly emailed to Keighley. One can quickly identify Ghost from Modern Warfare 2, so it’s likely that the short film will be based on the smash title.
Joystiq received another screen, which shows what appears to be a still from a live-action sequence.
