Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm has almost 50 heroes and over the weekend Blizzard is holding an event that lets gamers try them all for free.
Blizzard announced that starting this Friday at 19:00 CEST all heroes will be available to play and they will be 100% free during that time. From Friday and on Blizzard is also starting a bonus XP event, so from Friday and on everyone will get 50% bonus XP making leveling up your heroes to a respectable level much easier.
Gamers don't need to do anything special to partake in these two events, they just need to log onto Heroes of the Storm and all heroes will be free and they will earn XP 50% faster.
The Unlocked Heroes Weekend will be available in all regions from from April 8, 19:00 CEST (13:00 EDT) to April 11, 19:00 (13:00 EDT). So gamer who hadn't planned anything special for the weekend now have something to look forward to.
Unfortunately this means that Tracer won't be one of the heroes that gamers will get to play for free since she will be added April 19. But all the other heroes like Cho'gall, Lunara, Greymane, King Leoric, Kerrigan, and Falstad will be available.
The Bonus XP Event will be available in all regions from April 8, 19:00 CEST (13:00 EDT) to April 18, 19:00 CEST (13:00 EDT). That means gamers has 10 full days to level up their heroes at a faster rate.
Blizzard is also making the Recruit a Friend program more valuable during the Bonus XP Event giving players who successfully recruits a friend a 50% XP bonus on top of the already added 50% bonus XP for every game you and your newly recruited friend plays together.
These two events held by Blizzard just so happens to coincide with the Battleborn Open Beta, one might think that Blizzard would want to draw away attention from Battleborn in favor for their own game in the same genre, Overwatch…
