Epic Games VP Mark Rein revealed his company’s doubts about Nintendo’s new handheld to Joystiq this week.
“We don’t have a 3DS, so there’s no way for us to verify that, but everything we’ve been led to believe is that it’s below our min-spec,” Rein says.
Rein points to the recent Epic Citadel on the iPhone (now over 1M downloads) as something that’s probably not possibly on the 3DS. Having played the 3DS myself and seen Nintendo’s launch lineup first hand, I’m going to have to agree.
