EIDOS
INTERACTIVE ANNOUNCES WAVE RALLY FOR PLAYSTATION®2 COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT
SYSTEM

Leading
Interactive Publisher Forms Strategic Partnership with Kawasaki® and Jet
Pilot®

San
Francisco, CA (May 30, 2001) — Eidos Interactive, one of the world’s leading
publishers and developers of entertainment software, announces Wave Rally for
the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. Wave Rally is a Jet Ski®
racing game that recreates all the thrills and excitement of this high-octane
sport. The game is being developed by Opus Corporation, Tokyo, Japan, and will
be released in Winter 2001.

Eidos
has formed strategic partnerships with both Kawasaki, the world’s foremost
manufacturer of personal watercraft, and Jet Pilot, the world’s leading
manufacturer of apparel and accessories for the personal watercraft market.
The involvement of Kawasaki enables the use of Jet Ski® watercraft and
Kawasaki trademarks in the game. Each rider will sport Jet Pilot’s
distinctive, high-performance wetsuits.

"We
are very excited about Jet Pilot and Kawasaki’s involvement with Wave
Rally," says Paul Baldwin, Eidos’ Vice President of Marketing. "When
you think of quality, high performance and breakthrough technology involving
personal watercraft, you think of Kawasaki and this will be reflected in the
game itself."

"This
partnership with Eidos reflects the evolving opportunities for brand licensing
and we see console gaming as a key part of our communication strategy,"
says Simon Belton, Licensing Manager of Kawasaki. "Wave Rally is a great
game that gives the player a real impression of what it’s like to ride a
Kawasaki Jet Ski®."

Wave
Rally utilizes Opus’ ‘GZWave’ engine resulting in ultra realistic waves and
dynamic water physics enabling players to launch off rolling breakers and
perform spectacular freestyle tricks. The game consists of various modes
including, Arcade, Championship, Freestyle and 2-player Head-to-Head mode.
Riders from across the globe will race in a number of diverse locations from
the beaches of Florida to the fjords of Norway and the canals of Venice.

"In
combining our unique graphics engine and a ground-breaking wave generator, we
have successfully created a personal watercraft race game experience which is
second to none," says Takayuki Suzuki, CEO of Opus Corporation.
